Most of us can't help but feel this crazy little thing called Love. It can't be helped I guess. That feeling just comes around usually at the most unexpected time.
But sometimes, people don't get their so called happy endings. All I can say is, if it's not happy, then it's not yet the end. But of course we can't help but feel sad if a relationship doesn't work out. We usually get heart broken and depressed during these times. People around you might tell you to move on but of course moving on is not as easy as saying it. Sometimes we have to find ways or alternatives to forget about that person.
Today, I will share to you my own ways of moving on. I can't say that it's a hundred percent effective but my sources say that it helps.
1. Avoid listening to mellow love songs
Listening to mellow love songs will make you remember about him/her. You'll realize that the lyrics will pretty much fit your love story and you'll emote once more. Try listening to happy and energetic songs. You can also dance to it to laugh yourself out.
2. Don't text him/her first
If you keep texting him or her, the more you'll hope that he or she will respond. And of course if he or she doesn't respond, you'll be depressed once more.
3. Spend more time with friends
Spending more time with friends will keep your mind off that person. You're friends will also make you realize that there's more to life than him or her.
4. Read Books
Reading books will make you forget about your life problems. After all, books don't offer escape bu it can stop your mind from scratching itself raw. You'll also fall for fictional characters and you'll forget about that certain person.
5. Go shopping or pamper yourself
Go and have your "me" time. Relax, buy yourself things that makes you happy even for just a while. You'll be able to forget about that person even if it's only in a limited time.
6. Work out
Some people might say that they'd just rather eat than love. But for me I'd rather work out than eat a lot. It will benefit you because it will set your mind on other things, make you fit and healthy. If you eat a lot you'll be fat resulting to lesser confidence. Of course you're more confident if you're fit right?
7.) SMILE :)
There's really no point in frowning all the time. You're frown will not change your situation plus you'll age faster. But when you smile people around you will smile too and you'll be glowing.
So really, there's no point of staying in bed crying and cursing about your unsuccessful love life. Go out! Find yourself and make your situation a lesson for you in the future. :)
