There is always a time in a sick person's life when they just wait for their moment of peace to come. It's not being bitter it's just sometimes, people accept reality.
That is what Hazel Grace Lancaster, the protagonist in the book entitled The Fault In Our Stars by John Green felt after being diagnosed by cancer. Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer kid support group, a group in which people with cancer support each other and tell each other their stories, Hazel's story was rewritten.
The story made me realize that God has always planned something better ahead of us. Hazel, just like any other sick people would ask God Why Me? And as soon as she was being close to giving up that's when Augustus appeared and changed her life.
Augustus, same as Hazel was also diagnosed with cancer but it didn't stop him from acting just like a normal healthy person. He would always quote, The thing with pain is that it demands to be felt. The other quote from the book that really struck me is Without pain we couldn't know joy. It's true. Sometimes, after your pain, your joy barges in.
If you want to find your inspirations in life, this book is a must read. I highly recommend everyone to read John Green's work of art.
